Unlimited Uninterrupted Connectivity

Prayer takes time. It should not be rushed. It requires shutting out or down worldly distractions in order to make a strong connection to God. These days this means unplugging or pushing away devices that are constantly connected to friends or endless streams of news, music, videos and trivia. In fact, how much better off we would be if we had the same kind of uninterrupted connectivity to God. What if that device in your hand was connected to God’s network 24/7? This is what “praying without ceasing” means. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) See how far off the mark we are if we need to first start by setting aside a little time for prayer?
