Putting on Airs

I will give heed to the blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. Psalm 101:2

It’s rare to find a man whose public life mirrors his private life. A man of deep conviction, whose mind is absorbed in the things of God, should be consistent and predictable in both arenas. You can call the fakery that we witness in some so-called “believers” in public as “putting on airs.” David’s integrity consumed him to the point that all men–inside or outside his four walls–witnessed his heart for God. You could say he always wore it on his sleeve.
